Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Danvers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lesser Scaup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scaup takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Danvers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Scaup. That did some damage!
Scaup takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Danvers lands a front kick.
Scaup looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Scaup has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Danvers.
Scaup doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Danvers.

Danvers darts in and clinches Scaup up against the cage.
A bit of stalling here from Danvers.

Danvers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Danvers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Danvers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Danvers takes a little break here. Scaup wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Danvers has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

It looks like Lesser Scaup has been cut.
Danvers throws a sloppy head kick and Scaup moves out of range easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Danvers.

Scaup lands a jab to Danvers's midsection.
Danvers throws a head kick that misses.

Scaup shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scaup breaks from Danvers's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Danvers is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Danvers working to try and regain half guard.
Scaup takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Danvers tries to lock up and control but Scaup gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Scaup lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Danvers tries to hold on but Scaup postures up.
Danvers keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Danvers takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Danvers throws a right and a left that both miss.
Scaup tries to clinch up
and Danvers counters with a good, hard body kick but Scaup shrugs it off.
Scaup swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Danvers lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Danvers lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Scaup counters with a takedown into side control.
Danvers is trying to control Scaup's posture but Scaup avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danvers is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Danvers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scaup on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Scaup working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Scaup throwing strikes but Danvers manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Scaup wants to control but Danvers postures up.
Danvers in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Danvers decides to stand back up.

Danvers drives through and clinches with Scaup against the cage.
Danvers lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Scaup rushes Danvers and presses him up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Scaup tries to pull guard but Danvers holds him up against the cage and eventually Scaup drops back down to his feet.

Scaup changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Danvers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Scaup is looking to take a break and control but Danvers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Scaup wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Danvers, who protects the arm well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Danvers feints and then cracks Scaup's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Scaup down.

Scaup sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Danvers takes a swing at Scaup's ribcage but misses.
Scaup shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Danvers finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Scaup chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Danvers can pounce on him.
Scaup shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Danvers pinned against the cage. Danvers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Danvers fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Scaup.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Danvers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
