Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Wijkstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wijkstrom stuffs the takedown attempt from Ramirez. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.

Wijkstrom had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ramirez is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wijkstrom Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ramirez's back instead.

and Wijkstrom counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ramirez won't be happy with that. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wijkstrom tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wijkstrom has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
