The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fournier tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tandberg swivels and escapes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fournier. Tandberg does a little dance to reset his feet.

A solid leg kick lands there for Tandberg.
Fournier dives in for a single leg takedown but Tandberg sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.

Fournier closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fournier lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tandberg looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fournier postures up and lands a big shot to Tandberg's brow.

Fournier is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tandberg is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tandberg has escaped and now he's on top!

Tandberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fournier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fournier has hold of Tandberg's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tandberg tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fournier cranks the arm and Tandberg screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tandberg, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
