And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Hemmingworth and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buquesnoy takes the fight into the clinch.

Buquesnoy breaks from the clinch.
Lynch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Buquesnoy clinches.
Buquesnoy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Buquesnoy is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Buquesnoy scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Brandon Lynch has been cut.
Buquesnoy lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lynch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Buquesnoy - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Buquesnoy works on Lynch's body with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buquesnoy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Buquesnoy connects with a knee to the head.
Lynch tries to pull guard but Buquesnoy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Buquesnoy struggles to land a body shot inside as Lynch controls his hands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lynch goes for a takedown in the clinch but Buquesnoy prevents it.
Buquesnoy crunches a lovely knee into Lynch's ribcage.
Buquesnoy unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Lynch is breathing heavily.
Lynch has Buquesnoy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Buquesnoy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Lynch. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lynch jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Buquesnoy walks away with a smile on his face. Lynch gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Buquesnoy moves into the clinch successfully.
Buquesnoy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Buquesnoy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Buquesnoy clinches up against the cage.

Buquesnoy drops Lynch with a big knee straight up the middle! Lynch is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Lynch is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lynch darts in and clinches Buquesnoy up against the cage.
Oh Lynch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Buquesnoy obliges.
Buquesnoy landing knees to the head.
Buquesnoy pushes Lynch back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lynch is pressed against the cage. Buquesnoy pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Lynch! Two more big strikes from Buquesnoy and Lynch crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Mot Buquesnoy!
A less than humble Mot Buquesnoy misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
