And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Pike misses.
De Vega misses with an uppercut.
De Vega lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pike throws a good cross that connects.
Pike displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as De Vega throws out the jab.
De Vega misses with a hook
and Pike counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
De Vega fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pike looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
De Vega lands a jab to the nose.
De Vega misses with a body shot.
De Vega takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
De Vega takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Escobar De Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Vega jabs at Pike's body.
A head kick misses from Pike.
De Vega slips under a jab.
Pike tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pike misses with a head kick.
De Vega misses with a lunging right hand
and Pike counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice body punch from De Vega.
De Vega moves out of range as Pike strikes.
Pike blocks a head kick by De Vega.
Pike throwing a counter right hand but De Vega manages to avoid it.
Pike's hands are dropping dangerously low here and De Vega connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pike scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Landon Pike has been cut.
De Vega takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pike avoids the body shot from De Vega.
Pike blocks a head kick by De Vega.
Pike takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
De Vega throws an overhand right that lands on Pike's shoulder, as Pike tries to avoid the shot.
Pike throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pike connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Vega drops his hands momentarily and Pike takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
De Vega tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pike was well out of range. Poor timing from De Vega.
We've been told by Pike's head coaches at LOD London Top Tier that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
De Vega misses with a hook. Pike ducked under it nicely.
De Vega misses the body punch
and Pike lands a stunning uppercut that sends De Vega to the mat!
De Vega is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pike is looking for a kimura but De Vega is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pike to get the leverage.
De Vega is still in real trouble! Can Pike finish him?
Pike lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked De Vega! More strikes land and this one is all over! Pike jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Landon Pike!
Landon Pike bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
