The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hale misses with a wild body shot.
Hale throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily.
Wilson fails with a takedown attempt.
Hale seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hale cracks a nice hook into Wilson's ribs.
Wilson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wilson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Wilson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hale keeps working.

Wilson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hale, who protects the arm well.

Hale tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Hale wants to control but Wilson is having none of it.

Nice sprawl there from Hale as Wilson shoots in.
Hale lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Tony Wilson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hale rushes Wilson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Wilson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hale clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wilson lands a shot to the head.

Hale is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wilson gets his way!
