The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Talley darts in and clinches Men up against the cage.

Talley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Men misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Talley.

Men forces Talley back against the cage and clinches.
Men is trying to pull guard but Talley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Men fails to pull guard.

Talley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Men gets a takedown into half guard.

Men decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Talley cracks a nice hook into Men's ribs.

Talley has taken the fight to the clinch.

Talley pulls guard successfully.

Men stands and steps away. Talley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Men decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Men seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Men seems to be working for a kimura but Talley defends the submission attempt.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Men connects with a nice short shot to Talley's temple.
Men works his way into side control.
Talley is being controlled here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Men scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Talley to see if he's OK.
Talley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Men on the ground.
Talley seems a little lost for a moment, as Men dominates the positioning.
Men lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Talley down.

Men has hold of Talley's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Talley tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Men cranks the arm and Talley screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Talley, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
