Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfonzo Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Mutulikina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierre Mutulikina has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alfonzo Acosta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pierre Mutulikina!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutulikina throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mutulikina tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Acosta swivels and escapes.
Mutulikina goes for a double leg but Acosta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Acosta continues to drive forward.
As Mutulikina looks to move away, Acosta throws a big counter combo but Mutulikina just gets out of the way.
Mutulikina changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Acosta tries to avoid it but Mutulikina manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Acosta to the ground. Acosta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alfonzo Acosta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pierre Mutulikina.
A low kick from Mutulikina misses
and Acosta counters with a one-two to the body.

Mutulikina closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Acosta quickly recovers to half guard.

Acosta has one foot on Mutulikina's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Acosta tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Acosta throws a few rabbit punches from the bottom. Mutulikina was waiting for it though - now Acosta's arm is in the perfect position for an arm triangle - he's tightening it up and Acosta is forced to tap out before he takes a nap! Very clever counter grappling there from Mutulikina!
