Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chad Decker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Ruth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ruth swivels and escapes.
Ruth swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ruth misses with the combination.
Decker is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ruth.

It looks like Chad Decker has been cut.
Decker goes for a double leg but Ruth avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ruth continues to drive forward.

Ruth dives in and scores a takedown into Decker's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruth engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Decker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ruth defends well.
Decker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruth on the ground.

Decker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ruth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ruth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Decker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruth is looking for a kimura but Decker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ruth to get the leverage.

Decker is looking to get back to full guard here but Ruth has managed to pass to side control instead.

Decker is letting Ruth control him for a moment.
Decker tries to improve position but can't.
Decker is trying to escape the position but Ruth is controlling the position.

Ruth decides to take the fight back to the feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruth throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice takedown defense from Ruth. No joy for Decker on that attempt.
Despite the aggression on Ruth's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Decker shoots in but Ruth avoids the takedown attempt easily.
As Decker backs off Ruth throws a huge counter combo but Decker manages to avoid it all.
Decker is breathing heavily.

Decker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ruth misses with a head kick.
Mateusz Ruth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ruth shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Decker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ruth stands and throws Decker's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Ruth tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Decker tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ruth has hold of Decker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Decker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ruth cranks the arm and Decker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Decker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
