Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Antione Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Kislyak!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kislyak gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stark to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stark's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kislyak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stark has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stark trying to control but Kislyak is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark is fighting to break Kislyak's control of his arms but Kislyak is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Stark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kislyak keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kislyak pulls Stark in close to his closed guard and prevents Stark from doing any damage or advancing position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Stark is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Stark wants to clinch.

Kislyak looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Stark has one foot on Kislyak's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Stark moves in looking to clinch but Kislyak pushes him off.

Kislyak scores with a shot to the side of Stark's head.

Kislyak has picked Stark up - he's going for a ride! Kislyak dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stark pushes Kislyak off looking to stand but Kislyak dives back in and keeps control.
Kislyak seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Kislyak closes the distance and clinches.

Kislyak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kislyak gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Kislyak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kislyak throws a nice looking combination but Stark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kislyak steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Stark.

Kislyak feints and as Stark raises his hands in defense, Kislyak changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stark is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kislyak dives into side control.

Stark tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kislyak wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kislyak is trying to get an arm triangle but Stark is defending well.
Kislyak gets to mount! Stark was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Kislyak stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Stark moves into the clinch.

Stark has hold of one of Kislyak's legs. Kislyak is fighting the takedown attempt but Stark gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Stark takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Stark gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kislyak to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kislyak stands up and waves to Stark to follow him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stark enables Kislyak to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stark manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Stark is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Kislyak presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Stark looks to throw an elbow but misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Kislyak pulls Stark into guard.

Kislyak has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Stark off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd cheers as Kislyak lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stark doesn't seem phased though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kislyak content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Kislyak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kislyak throws a head kick that misses.
Ivan Kislyak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stark tries to close the distance and clinch but Kislyak swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kislyak scores with a shot to the body.
Kislyak has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Kislyak drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kislyak wants to take a breather but Stark manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kislyak.
Stark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stark performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Kislyak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Stark gets caught napping as Kislyak dives in and scores a takedown. Stark manages to retain guard.
Kislyak's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kislyak pushes down on Stark's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Stark wants to control but Kislyak is keeping busy.

Kislyak shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kislyak was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kislyak is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kislyak decides to take the fight back to the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Kislyak sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kislyak is looking for the big counter here.

Kislyak closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Stark is not content to let Kislyak control the position.

Kislyak is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stark has managed to free his arm - good work.
Stark wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Kislyak decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Kislyak moves into range and clinches up with Stark.
Stark wants to get back to striking at distance but Kislyak won't allow it.

Kislyak has picked Stark up - he's going for a ride! Kislyak dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Stark tries to kick Kislyak off but Kislyak keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kislyak thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ivan Kislyak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kislyak has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
