The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman misses with a wild body shot.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jackman.
Good standup being displayed there by Jackman as he connects with a hook.

It looks like Jyrki Kasvi has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackman. Kasvi does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jackman moves into the clinch.
Kasvi blocking some punches.
Jackman lands a shoulder strike.
Kasvi blocks a body shot from Jackman.

Kasvi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kasvi slips under a jab from Jackman.
Despite the aggression on Kasvi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Mauler Jackman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackman tries to work over Kasvi's front leg with a kick but Kasvi checks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kasvi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackman looks to land a left hand but Kasvi moved out of range nicely.
Jackman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jackman swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A punch lands to the side of Kasvi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jackman thuds his right hand into Kasvi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Jackman lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kasvi doesn't seem phased though.
Kasvi misses with a body kick.
Kasvi slips under a jab from Jackman.
Jackman pounces like a tiger and cracks Kasvi with a vicious hook! Kasvi is down but not out! Jackman follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
