Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hokuro Kobayashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hokuro Kobayashi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hokuro Kobayashi!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kobayashi gets a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The crowd cheers as Talley lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kobayashi doesn't seem phased though.

Talley clinches up with Kobayashi and pushes him back against the cage.

Talley gets control of Kobayashi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Talley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kobayashi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kobayashi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Talley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kobayashi has Talley in his guard.

Talley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kobayashi just stands there and leans against the cage.

Talley jumps guard but Kobayashi stands there with Talley around his waist. Talley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kobayashi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Talley pinned against the cage. Talley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Talley is on top in guard.

Talley throws a strike but Kobayashi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kobayashi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kobayashi chips away with some ground and pound.
Talley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Talley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Talley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Kobayashi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kobayashi trying to control the position from guard on top but Talley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hokuro Kobayashi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kobayashi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
