Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe West Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe West Jr had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe West Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Eduardo!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo avoids the head kick by West Jr.
Eduardo is trying hard to land a takedown here. West Jr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Eduardo wants to take the fight to the mat but West Jr manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

West Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
West Jr throws a head kick that misses

and Eduardo counters with a takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Eduardo feints and as West Jr raises his hands in defense, Eduardo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Eduardo is trying to stand up here but West Jr is controlling him well.

West Jr does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

West Jr postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Joe West Jr is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joe West Jr.
Well West Jr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
