Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marty Martinez Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piet Van Zyl!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Zyl drives through and clinches with Martinez Jr against the cage.
Martinez Jr misses with a hook from the clinch.
Martinez Jr tries to stall but Van Zyl uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Martinez Jr misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Van Zyl ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Van Zyl no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Martinez Jr wants to stand and escape but instead Van Zyl has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

It looks like Van Zyl might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Van Zyl lands a couple of elbows.

Martinez Jr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Van Zyl postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Van Zyl controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Martinez Jr wants to get back to his feet but Van Zyl is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Van Zyl is stalling in the full guard.
Van Zyl drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Van Zyl seems to have locked his on tight now - Martinez Jr screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Van Zyl, as he picks up the win!
