The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene throws a right hand that Trevino ducks under and follows up with a left that Trevino also avoids with ease.
Greene throws a right and a left that both miss.

Greene misses with a series of wild punches.
Trevino misses with a double jab.
Trevino dodges the punch combination from Greene.
Greene rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trevino moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Greene throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Trevino slips a jab and a cross from Greene.

Trevino seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Trevino is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Greene.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Greene misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Trevino shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Greene sprawls well. Greene wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trevino gets slowly back to his feet.

Greene throws a right and a left that Trevino avoids nicely.
Trevino tries to counter with a takedown but Greene is quick to defend against it.
Greene throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trevino.
Greene misses with a jab, cross combination.

Trevino moves into the clinch successfully.
Trevino is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Greene to keep the fight standing.
Trevino tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Greene smiles and moves away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greene can do anything to dispel that myth.

Trevino seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trevino connects with a nice short shot to Greene's temple.
Greene wants to get back to his feet.
