Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kotetsu Boku Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ylermi Fugu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fugu has chosen The Japanese House - Face Like Thunder as his entrance music. Kotetsu Boku Jr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Boku Jr 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boku Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fugu finds it's way round the side to connect with Boku Jr's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boku Jr looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fugu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Fugu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boku Jr.
Fugu looks to score with a jab to the body but Boku Jr is just out of range.
Fugu cracks Boku Jr with a right hand to the side of the head.
Boku Jr takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Boku Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fugu.
Boku Jr walks into a straight right hand from Fugu.
Fugu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Fugu scores with a takedown into Boku Jr's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fugu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Fugu pushes down on Boku Jr's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Fugu is trying to work for a kimura but Boku Jr is defending well.

Fugu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Boku Jr doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fugu.
Boku Jr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boku Jr tries to get out of the position.
Fugu wants to take a breather but Boku Jr is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fugu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boku Jr is just riding it out for now. Fugu eventually gives up the hold.
Fugu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Boku Jr is refusing to be controlled, as Fugu sits in half guard.

Fugu seems to be looking for submissions.
Still in half guard, Fugu seems content to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fugu passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boku Jr!
Fugu wants to control the pace but Boku Jr is squirming around nicely.

Boku Jr has left one of his arms exposed and Fugu doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Boku Jr screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ylermi Fugu!
A less than humble Ylermi Fugu misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Kotetsu Boku Jr had this to say: 'I knew it, stupid bjj guys.'.
