Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Huang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve comes to the cage accompanied by Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You. Huang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nelly - The Champ. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Steve!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Huang!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steve gets caught flat footed, as Huang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Steve keeping moving, preventing Huang from controlling successfully.

Steve is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Huang's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Huang's back!

Steve is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Steve definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Steve wanted to stand there but Huang had control of the position.
Huang wants to sweep but no luck.
Steve has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Steve is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Huang is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

George Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steve fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Steve throws a body punch but Huang moves out of range.
Huang slips a jab and a cross from Steve.

Steve leaves Huang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
George Steve has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Huang.

Huang shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Huang tries to pass the half guard into mount. Steve knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huang is trying to control the action in half guard but Steve is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Huang wants to free his trapped foot but Steve is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Steve tries to get to full guard but Huang has control of the leg.
Huang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steve keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Steve works the jab nicely.
Steve is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Huang can do to turn this around?

and Steve counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Steve wants to get back to his feet but Huang passes into half guard.
Kevin Huang has got the better of the ground game so far.


Huang is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Steve defends it well.

Huang is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Huang trying to control but Steve is having none of it.

Steve is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

As Huang looks to move away, Steve throws a big counter combo but Huang just gets out of the way.

Steve lands a left and a right that send Huang crashing to the mat, dazed. Steve thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Huang counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Steve wants to hit a switch here but Huang passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Steve there!
Huang wants to control the pace but Steve is squirming around nicely.

Huang is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Steve is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Steve flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Huang anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Steve and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Huang slips an arm under Steve chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Huang has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Huang is squeezing on Steve like an anaconda would it's prey. Steve fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kevin Huang!
Kevin Huang is the new featherweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Kevin Huang started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
