The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Small scores with a takedown into Griffin's guard.
Small loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Griffin wants to stand and escape but Small is having none of it.
Small distracts Griffin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Small wants to control from the top but Griffin keeps moving.
Griffin wants to get back to his feet but Small is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Griffin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Small prevents Griffin from getting back to his feet.
Griffin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Small. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Small throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Griffin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Small drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Small as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Griffin screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Small! Nice submission victory there!
