Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Mugabi misses.

Mookjai gets tackled into the cage by Mugabi. Mugabi maintains the clinch.
Mookjai blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Mookjai.

Mookjai breaks from the clinch.
Mugabi tries to close the distance and clinch but Mookjai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A clash of legs there as Mookjai blocks the low kick.
Mugabi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mookjai was well out of range. Poor timing from Mugabi.
John Mugabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mookjai connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like John Mugabi has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mugabi moves to clinch but Mookjai breaks away
and Mookjai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mugabi throws a nice looking combination but Mookjai bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mugabi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Mookjai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mugabi scores with the left hand. Mookjai knows he should have avoided that one.

Mugabi throws a poor cross that misses
and Mookjai counters with a two punch combo.
Mugabi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mugabi is looking to clinch but Mookjai is avoiding it.
Mookjai moves out of range of the body kick.
Mugabi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mookjai on the side of the head.
A clash of legs there as Mookjai blocks the low kick.
Mookjai tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mookjai avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mookjai takes one on the button.
Mookjai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mugabi.
Mugabi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Mugabi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mugabi takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Mugabi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mookjai's corner calls for a 1-2. Mookjai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Mugabi is rocked!
Mookjai throws a series of punches but Mugabi avoids them all with ease.
Oh Mugabi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mugabi gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Mookjai gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
