The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fogherty looks to land a combination. Vindicator sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fogherty misses with a double jab.
Fogherty thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vindicator if he has to take too many more of those.

Fogherty is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Vindicator swings around for an armbar but Fogherty sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vindicator's guard.

Fogherty wants to stand but Vindicator has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Vindicator has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fogherty can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fogherty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vindicator. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
