The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barkley is on top in guard.

Barkley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barkley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kinnunen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barkley is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kinnunen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barkley's back instead.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kinnunen doesn't have the hooks in and Barkley manages to turn into his guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barkley connects with a nice short shot to Kinnunen's temple.

Kinnunen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barkley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barkley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Barkley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
