Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hasil Farrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hasil Farrell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Farrell throws a series of punches but Tyler moves out of range.

Tyler moves into the clinch.

Tyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Farrell tries to bum rush Tyler with a series of wild strikes but Tyler uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tyler misses with a series of wild punches.
Tyler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Farrell connects with the punch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Farrell. Tyler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tyler is looking for a counter combo.
Augustus Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Farrell blocks a jab.

Tyler closes the distance and pushes Farrell back into the cage.
Farrell wants to get back to striking at distance but Tyler won't allow it.
Tyler prevents Farrell from breaking the clinch.
Tyler effectively controlling the action here.
Tyler has Farrell pressed against the cage, preventing Farrell from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Tyler jumps into guard, dragging Farrell to the mat.
Farrell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tyler is proving hard to escape from.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tyler is on top in guard.

Farrell is rocked!
Farrell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tyler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tyler postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Farrell covers up, he's hurt! Tyler keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Tyler and the ref steps in to end the fight! Tyler can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
