And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lil Thickums!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thickums scores with a spinning back kick!
Thickums will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lil Thickums seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thickums throws a combination. Peters tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Arturo Peters has been cut.
Peters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Peters shoots in for a double leg but Thickums sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thickums is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Peters with a body shot.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Peters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Thickums tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Thickums is trying to get back to his feet but Peters has full control of the position and if anything, Thickums has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Thickums is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Peters has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Thickums has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Peters controlling the position well here. Thickums rolled but Peters kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Peters will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Peters is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Thickums won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Peters off his unconscious opponent!
