Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theo Rains (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franco comes to the cage accompanied by The Animals - House of the Rising Sun. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Franco as Rains shoots in.
Franco misses with a takedown attempt
and Rains connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rains looks to score with a jab to the body but Franco is just out of range.
Franco has his takedown stuffed
and Rains counters with a nice body shot.
Rains lands with a hook. Franco tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Franco fails with the takedown
and Rains counters with a two punch combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Franco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Franco takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

and Rains makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Franco is breathing heavily.

Rains scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice straight punches there by Rains. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rains.
Franco swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Theo Rains seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Rains finds it's way through Franco's defenses.

and Rains counters with a beautiful punch that sends Franco to the canvas!

Franco is working an open guard so Rains takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rains lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Franco falls backwards - clearly groggy! Rains dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
