Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Photo Op!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Op looks for a takedown but Calzattrounewis sprawls well.
A cross from Op lands.
Op fails with an attempt to clinch.
Op misses with a double jab.
Calzattrounewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Calzattrounewis looks to land a left hand but Op moved out of range nicely.
Calzattrounewis misses with a combination
and Op counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Calzattrounewis lands a head shot.
Op wants to clinch.
Op keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No luck for Op with that takedown attempt.
Op moves forwards but Calzattrounewis connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Joe Calzattrounewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Calzattrounewis throws a combination that misses
and Op counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Op shoots in for a takedown but Calzattrounewis shows good takedown defense.
Joe Calzattrounewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Photo Op.

Calzattrounewis closes the distance and clinches.
Op jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Calzattrounewis walks away with a smile on his face. Op gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Op slips a jab and a cross from Calzattrounewis.
Op tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Calzattrounewis is looking to chop away at Op's legs.

Op shoots in for a double leg but Calzattrounewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Op counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Calzattrounewis's guard now.
Op won't allow Calzattrounewis to get back to his feet.

Op looking to pass the guard.
Calzattrounewis wants to sweep but no luck.
Calzattrounewis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Op's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Op not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Calzattrounewis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Calzattrounewis throws a low kick but Op avoids it.
Calzattrounewis throws a low kick, looking for Op's leg but Op calmly moves out of range.
Calzattrounewis throws a looping overhand right but Op ducks down to avoid it.

and Op cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Calzattrounewis throws a left and a right that both miss

and Op counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Op.
Op passes Calzattrounewis's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Calzattrounewis is defending against the submission attempts here by Op.
Calzattrounewis moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Op looking to sit in guard and control but Calzattrounewis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Op looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Calzattrounewis slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Calzattrounewis has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Op isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Calzattrounewis stacks Op on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Calzattrounewis!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Calzattrounewis stands up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Calzattrounewis misses with a straight right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Photo Op dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Calzattrounewis throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Op to counter with a crisp jab.
Calzattrounewis will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Calzattrounewis wants to clinch.
Op takes a swing at Calzattrounewis's ribcage but misses.

Calzattrounewis has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Op.
Op tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Calzattrounewis smiles and moves away.

Calzattrounewis rushes Op and presses him up against the cage.
Op tries to pull guard but Calzattrounewis won't allow it.
Op goes for a takedown attempt but Calzattrounewis pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Op closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Photo Op has been cut.
Calzattrounewis is looking to clinch but Op is avoiding it.
Calzattrounewis missing with a left hand there. Op was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Calzattrounewis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Op counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Calzattrounewis lands a nice shot to the body.
Calzattrounewis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A telegraphed right hand from Calzattrounewis misses the target.
Calzattrounewis lands with a big right hook that stumbles Op - he's out on his feet here! Calzattrounewis follows up with another monster hook that separates Op from consciousness! Op falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Calzattrounewis stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
