The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans is looking to slow Reinikainen down with leg kicks.
Reinikainen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Evans tries to keep at a distance but Reinikainen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Reinikainen jumps into guard, dragging Evans to the mat.
Reinikainen is looking to stand up but Evans isn't so interested in that idea.
Reinikainen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Reinikainen looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Evans has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Reinikainen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Evans.

Evans looks to move to half guard but instead Reinikainen has passed into mount! Damn!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evans takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Reinikainen has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Evans's face.

Reinikainen controlling the position well here. Evans rolled but Reinikainen kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Reinikainen keeps control of the position as Evans tries to break free.
Reinikainen lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Reinikainen is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Evans is defending well though. Reinikainen let's go of the attempt for now.
