Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ban lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ban gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Pugh counters by clinching up.
Pugh fails to pull guard.
Ban tries to break the clinch but Pugh is controlling the position.
Pugh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ban fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pugh rushes Ban and presses him up against the cage.
Pugh is trying to pull guard but Ban has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luke Pugh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pugh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pugh jumps guard and drags Ban to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pugh looking for a guillotine here but Ban defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ban is looking to stand up but Pugh won't let him.

Pugh striking off his back but it's not causing Ban any problems.
Ban has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pugh is proving hard to escape from.

Pugh throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Pugh is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Pugh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ban clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pugh is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ban knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ban for a finish.
Pugh has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ban has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pugh is looking for the choke from the back position but Ban is controlling his hands well.

Ban is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Pugh working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Ban is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Pugh has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Ban taps out!
