Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Liam Henney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henney comes to the cage accompanied by Energy. Liam Henney has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Henney or perhaps it was just good defense by Pan, which made it look bad.
Pan wants to counter the offense by Henney and move into the clinch position.

Henney has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Pan is on him like a limpet, forcing Henney back against the cage.

Pan tightens his grip and picks Henney up, before dumping him to the ground. Henney manages to land in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Henney escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pan's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Henney looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Henney dives in and grabs Pan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pan pushes down on Henney's head and hops out.
Liam Henney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Henney quickly recovers to half guard.

Henney manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pan keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Pan throws a punch but it's blocked by Henney.

Henney rushes Pan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Henney is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pan gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Pan is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Henney can't fight it off and eventually Pan manages to take the fight to the floor. Henney looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Henney is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Liam Henney.
I think Pan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
