Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sal Branch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joao Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Branch misses with the combination.

Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Branch's guard.

Branch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Silva controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Branch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Let's hope that Silva has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Branch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Branch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva seems to be looking for submissions.

Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Branch doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Silva.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Branch haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Silva has an Americana. Branch didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Silva is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Silva hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
