Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Cooler Than Me by Mike Posner. Peter Johnson had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson dives in and scores a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Wilson from controlling successfully.
Wilson is standing up over Johnson. Johnson looks to escape but Wilson dives into side control.
Johnson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wilson's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wilson drops an elbow to the side of Johnson's head.

Wilson wants to free his trapped foot but Johnson is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Johnson makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wilson dives in and grabs Johnson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes down on Wilson's head and hops out.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wilson gets slowly back to his feet.
As Wilson looks to move away, Johnson throws a big counter combo but Wilson just gets out of the way.
Peter Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Wilson.

Wilson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Johnson goes for a double leg but Wilson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wilson continues to drive forward.

Johnson sneaks out the side door and pushes Wilson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Johnson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Wilson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Wilson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Johnson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Johnson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wilson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Wilson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Johnson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wilson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wilson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Johnson throws a right and a left that Wilson avoids nicely.
Johnson darts in looking for a takedown but Wilson gets double underhooks and turns Johnson into the cage.
Wilson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wilson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Peter Johnson showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
