Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between CM Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manoel Cabral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manoel Cabral has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with CM Punk's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Manoel Cabral!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabral closes the distance but Punk moves to the side
and Punk counters with a takedown into side control.
Punk is looking to take a break and control but Cabral is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cabral tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cabral keeps trying to improve his position.
Punk lands some shots froms side control.
Punk scores with a couple of short elbows.
Punk decides to stand back up. Punk steps back and let's Cabral get back to his feet.
Cabral looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Punk is fending him off so far but Cabral persists. Nope, Punk circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Punk was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Cabral shoots for a double leg takedown but Punk sprawls well. He's pushed Cabral's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Punk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cabral manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Punk manages to get himself to full guard.

Cabral is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Punk is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Punk has escaped and now he's on top!

Cabral is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Punk gets to his feet and stands over Cabral, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cabral felt that one! Punk unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cabral from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). CM Punk!
A very excited looking CM Punk made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
