Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Donavon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Donavon will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donavon looks to land a left hand but Bam moved out of range nicely.

Bam is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Donavon to keep the fight standing.

Bam has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Donavon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bam is trying to push Donavon away but Donavon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Bam has picked Donavon up - he's going for a ride! Bam dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Donavon is looking to improve his position.
Bam seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Donavon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bam is nestled in close to Donavon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bam is taking a breather. Donavon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bam takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bam shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Donavon pinned against the cage. Donavon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Donavon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bam. Bam circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Bam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Donavon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bam somewhat.

Donavon lands a jab to the head.
Donavon steps in with a hook that catches Bam right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Donavon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Bam looks absolutely devastated.
