Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Tafari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sixx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tafari comes into the arena with Buffalo Soldier - Bob Marley blaring out of the sound system. Sixx is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kickstart My Heart - Motley Crue. Ryan Sixx is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tafari throws a head kick that misses.
Sixx tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Tafari wants to clinch.
Sixx with the counter takedown but Tafari avoids it easily.
Tafari stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tafari wants it to stay on the feet.
Sixx tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tafari swivels and escapes.
Sixx shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tafari but Tafari pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tafari is looking for a choke. Sixx gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Sixx manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Hector Tafari overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tafari is looking for a kimura but Sixx is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tafari to get the leverage.

Sixx is looking for a sweep. Tafari is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
