Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rand Randomaire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krotos Kron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krotos Kron will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randomaire swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kron counters with a series of strikes. Randomaire will be more careful next time no doubt.
Randomaire has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA Sydney in the buildup to the fight.
Kron misses with a series of wild punches.
Randomaire with a lazy takedown attempt
and Kron counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Kron gets tackled into the cage by Randomaire. Randomaire maintains the clinch.

Randomaire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kron lands a two punch combo.
Randomaire shoots in for a double leg but Kron sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Randomaire looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kron throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Randomaire wants to clinch
and Kron cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Randomaire closes the distance and clinches up with Kron, looking for a takedown. Randomaire pushes Kron against the cage but Kron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rand Randomaire. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kron fakes the body blow, causing Randomaire to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Randomaire goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
