Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenith Jenova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinsuke Mitsurugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitsurugi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Rising Sun kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenova loads up on a big right hand but Mitsurugi slips the punch.
A swing and a miss from Mitsurugi.
Mitsurugi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Jenova!
Kenith Jenova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jenova bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mitsurugi's head backwards.
Jenova has been working on his boxing with his coaches at GTi 888 in the buildup to the fight.
Mitsurugi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jenova's calf.
Jenova takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Mitsurugi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jenova throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mitsurugi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mitsurugi throws a head kick but Jenova moves out of range.

Mitsurugi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jenovas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Mitsurugi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jenova throws a lazy right hand but Mitsurugi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mitsurugi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Mitsurugi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mitsurugi avoids a kick to the body.
Jenova has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mitsurugi.
Jenova takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jenova ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mitsurugi moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Shinsuke Mitsurugi will probably get the nod.

Mitsurugi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jenova tries to land a front kick but Mitsurugi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mitsurugi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mitsurugi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jenova.

Jenova drops his hands momentarily and Mitsurugi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Mitsurugi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mitsurugi feints and then cracks Jenova's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jenova down.

Jenova throws a sloppy head kick
and Mitsurugi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Mitsurugi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jenova's head.
Jenova shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Jenova takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Oh Jenova is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shinsuke Mitsurugi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jenova takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jenova seems to have got his legs back now.
Mitsurugi tries a head kick but it misses.

and Mitsurugi scores with a counter punch that sends Jenova to the canvas! Mitsurugi smells blood - he's punishing Jenova with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jenova has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Shinsuke Mitsurugi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
