The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markovic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Naughty changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Markovic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Naughty connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Markovic scrambles back to his feet.
Markovic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Markovic has taken the fight to the clinch.

A lazy left from Naughty finds it's target.
Nathan Naughty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Markovic counters with a good, hard body kick but Naughty shrugs it off.
Markovic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Markovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Naughty.

Naughty wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Markovic's closed guard. He's half up but Markovic has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Markovic pivots and extends the arm, Naughty falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Markovic! Well done that man!
