Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Asko Asinen!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arderos looks to score with a jab to the body but Asinen is just out of range.
Asinen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Arderos avoids it really well and circles away.
Arderos appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Arderos fails with a takedown attempt.
Asinen with the counter takedown but Arderos avoids it easily.
Arderos connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Asinen is trying to keep Arderos in close.
Asinen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asinen is pulling down on Arderos's head to control his posture.
Asinen controls Arderos momentarily but Arderos frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Arderos is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Asinen is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Asinen has escaped and now he's on top!

Asinen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Arderos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Asinen has managed to get both his arms back between Arderos's legs - danger averted.

Arderos is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Asinen rolls with it to try and escape but Arderos cranks on the arm and Asinen is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
