Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Zipperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muhammed Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Zipperman!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ali clinches up against the cage.
Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zipperman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Zipperman swats away the attempt to clinch by Ali.

Zipperman gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ali successfully pulls guard.
Zipperman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Zipperman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ali avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Zipperman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zipperman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Ali wants to get back to his feet.

Zipperman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ali tries to get to full guard but Zipperman has control of the leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Zipperman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Zipperman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zipperman controlling the pace.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zipperman wants to work for an arm triangle but Ali is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Zipperman stands up out of the half guard.

Zipperman dives in and scores a takedown into Ali's guard.
Ali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ali is breathing heavily.
Zipperman showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

Ali utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Zipperman content to stall in guard here.
Zipperman advances to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Zipperman tries to pass to full mount but Ali defends it.
Zipperman is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Zipperman dominated that round.
That's time! Ali's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Ali gets caught flat footed, as Zipperman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Zipperman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zipperman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zipperman tries to free his leg and advance position but Ali is retaining full guard.

Zipperman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zipperman misses with a kick to the body.
Ali tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Zipperman manages to circle out of the way.
Zipperman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ali fails with a takedown attempt.

Ali gets caught napping as Zipperman dives in and scores a takedown. Ali manages to retain guard.
Ali wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Zipperman manages to pass to side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Zipperman prevents Ali from improving his position.

Zipperman works his way into full mount!
Zipperman controlling the pace for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Zipperman in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Zipperman gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Zipperman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Zipperman showed some decent athleticism there.
Zipperman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Ali is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Zipperman has latched onto it... Big trouble! Zipperman pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Ali is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Zipperman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kyle Zipperman!
