Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hung White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hung White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Magomedov!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov is trying hard to land a takedown here. White sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
White tries to counter by clinching up but Magomedov breaks away and moves out of range.
Magomedov tries a head kick but it misses.
White tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Magomedov manages to circle out of the way.
Magomedov lands a jab.

White has managed to clinch.
White is trying to maintain a safe position but Magomedov gets an underhook and turns White into the cage.
White stalling.
Magomedov lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov manages to break the clinch.
White stuffs the takedown.
Magomedov takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Magomedov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Magomedov shoots in but White avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hung White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Magomedov.

Magomedov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Magomedov wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and White is now in half guard.
White is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magomedov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and White manages to pass to side control.

White's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
White wants to take a breather but Magomedov is having none of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Magomedov is trying to maintain the position but White is very close to passing his half guard.

White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Magomedov keeps working.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
White throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and White counters with a nice body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hung White will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


White keeps the fight on the outside.

White closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Magomedov's guard.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Magomedov works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

White got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magomedov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, White has managed to get both his arms back between Magomedov's legs - danger averted.
White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Magomedov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
White looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
White's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Both fighters circling a little - Magomedov finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Magomedov moves into the clinch.
White has Magomedov pressed against the cage.

Magomedov successfully pulls guard.
White seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

White trying to control but Magomedov is working from the bottom.

Magomedov looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Magomedov is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
White is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Magomedov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
White chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Magomedov can pounce on him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Magomedov, right into the meat.
Magomedov throws a series of strikes that have White backpedaling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander Magomedov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Alexander Magomedov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Magomedov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Alexander Magomedov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
