Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cleo Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karrr Loki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loki shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Loki was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Loki swings around for an armbar but Page sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Loki's guard.

Page might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Page avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Page is one step ahead there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Loki can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Page looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Page clinches up against the cage.

Page turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Loki tries to bench press Page off him but Page keeps the position.

Page remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Loki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Loki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Page, pushing him back against the cage.
Loki is trying to stall.

That was a close round but I would say that Cleo Page will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Loki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Page tries to avoid it but Loki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Page to the ground. Page escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Page shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loki but Loki pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Loki shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Page manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Loki throws a strike but Page rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Page keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Loki's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Loki moves into the clinch.
Loki is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Page pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Page has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Loki is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Loki is trying to push Page away but Page has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Loki throws an elbow but it misses.
Loki has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Loki is working for takedown but Page is calmly controlling the position for now.

Page breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Loki fails with a takedown attempt.

Karrr Loki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Page shoots for a double leg takedown but Loki sprawls well. He's pushed Page's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Page is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Loki's shoulder. That is not cool.

Loki takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Loki looks to move to half guard but instead Page has passed into mount! Damn!
Page is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Loki can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Page is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Loki to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Loki shrugs it off.

Page tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Page's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Page is landing with some decent strikes but Loki is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
