Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Denis Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ter Harkel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Conan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz keeps the fight on the outside.
Ter Harkel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ortiz clinches.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ortiz.
The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ortiz creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Ortiz misses with a body punch.
Ortiz is trying to break the clinch but Ter Harkel has him pressed against the ropes.

A frustrated look appears on Ter Harkel's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Ortiz gets through Ter Harkel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ter Harkel pushes off an throws an elbow but Ortiz leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Ter Harkel manages to break the clinch.
Denis Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ortiz scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Ter Harkel to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

It looks like Jan Hendrik Ter Harkel has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ter Harkel is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Ortiz just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Ter Harkel has gone limp and this one is over!
