The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meier throws a hook but Hollander blocks it.
Tyrone Hollander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Tyrone Hollander has been cut.

Hollander takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Meier tries to work over Hollander's front leg with a kick but Hollander checks it.
Meier cracks Hollander with an uppercut from hell and Hollander crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Meier's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Meier controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Meier has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Hollander wants to sweep here but Meier controlling him for the moment.
Hollander controls Meier momentarily but Meier frees himself.
Meier wants to control from the top but Hollander keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Meier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Meier slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hollander tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Meier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hollander not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Hollander looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Meier puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Franziskus Meier just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Hollander misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Oh Meier is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Meier seems to have got his legs back now.
Hollander's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hollander decides to stand back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hollander throws a lazy right hand but Meier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Hollander misses the target.
Meier cracks a nice hook into Hollander's ribs.
Meier fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Meier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hollander throws the left hand but Meier avoids the punch easily.

Hollander gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Meier.
The fighters circle momentarily. Meier darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hollander throws a hook but Meier blocks it.
Hollander moves forwards but Meier connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Tyrone Hollander's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Meier sizes up Hollander with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Meier is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hollander can do to turn this around?
Meier drops Hollander with a right and a left! Meier comes rushing in but Hollander regains his composure and manages to keep Meier in guard.

Hollander is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tyrone Hollander's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
