Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ross Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bus Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adams has managed to clinch.

Adams manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Kidd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Adams, who protects the arm well.
Kidd is looking to take a break and control but Adams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kidd cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kidd cracks Adams with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Adams manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Adams wants to get back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Adams is staying active underneath Kidd, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
