Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hung Barron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Swift (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hung Barron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Swift !
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift throws a body shot but no joy.
Swift throws a leg kick which misses Barron's front leg but catches the back leg as Barron tries to avoid it.
Swift shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barron as he avoids it easily.
Mike Swift seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Swift . Barron shrugs it off though.
Swift connects with a solid leg kick.
Swift throws a leg kick but Barron checks it.

Swift has taken the fight to the clinch.

Swift jumps guard and drags Barron to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Barron drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Swift dives on top into guard.

Swift drops back, looking for a kneebar! Barron looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Barron looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Barron!

Barron could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Barron wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swift keeps working.
Swift is letting Barron control him for a moment.

Swift is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Barron has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Barron wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Swift , who protects the arm well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That's time! Barron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Swift .
Barron appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Swift throws a sloppy head kick and Barron moves out of range easily.
Swift misses with a takedown attempt - Barron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Swift tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Barron defends well and Swift ends up having to push Barron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hung Barron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Swift .

Swift shoots in looking for a takedown but Barron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swift 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Barron closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Swift 's guard.
Swift is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Swift fails to land the takedown.

Swift shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barron but Barron pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hung Barron will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Swift tries to clinch there but Barron circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Barron has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Barron tries to throw a body punch but Swift avoids it by throwing Barron back against the cage.

Swift has Barron pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Swift pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Barron tumbling to the mat - Swift dives into Barron's guard.
Barron can't keep his opponent in guard - Swift advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Swift wants to take a breather but Barron is having none of it.

Swift drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Barron manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Swift has Barron in his guard.

Barron fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Swift manages to avoid it.

Swift tries to clinch there but Barron circles away.
Swift looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Barron throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barron dives in for a single leg takedown but Swift sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Swift moves into the clinch.

Barron is working for takedown but Swift is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hung Barron. That's going to take a lot out of him.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Barron just misses with a elbow thrown towards Swift 's brow.

Swift manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Swift with that takedown attempt.

Swift is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Barron dives into side control.

Mike Swift comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
