Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benny Hays!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hays tries to keep at a distance but Daniels has taken the fight into the clinch.
Daniels tries to break free but Hays pushes him back against the cage.

Daniels gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hays tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Daniels takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hays is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hays is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Daniels pulls his head out easily.
Daniels scoring with strikes to the body and head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Daniels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hays defends it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daniels controlling the pace.
Daniels scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hays tries to roll over but Daniels keeps him under control.
Daniels passes to side control.
Hays really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Daniels tries to move into full mount but can't pass Hays's legs.
Daniels controlling the position from side mount.
Daniels lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Hays throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Daniels stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Daniels rushes Hays and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hays has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Daniels avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Daniels has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hays clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hays wants to escape the position.

Daniels is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hays with him. Hays is trying to defend but Daniels has an arm under the chin now! Hays grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Daniels!
