The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Frank's half guard.
Frank tries to get to full guard but Marcell has control of the leg.

Marcell throwing shots but Frank is blocking nicely.

Marcell slips a nice elbow through Frank's hands, connecting with Frank's forehead.
Frank looking for subs from the bottom but Marcell mounts him!

Marcell drops an elbow to the side of Frank's head.

Frank tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Marcell has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Frank is bucking up trying to escape but Marcell cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Frank is rocked!
Marcell is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Frank goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Marcell!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Niko Marcell!
