Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Viktor Grishin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raistlin Lovelair!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lovelair tries to land a front kick but Grishin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Lovelair has taken the fight to the clinch.

Grishin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Grishin throws a leg kick
and Lovelair counters with a three punch combo that has Grishin backing up. Grishin nods at Lovelair to acknowledge the strikes.
Lovelair misses with a few strikes there.

Grishin drops Lovelair with a beautiful combination! Lovelair stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Grishin is looking for the KO!


It looks like Raistlin Lovelair has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grishin throws a big shot that misses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lovelair misses with a hook to the ribs.
Grishin is trying to push Lovelair away but Lovelair has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grishin avoiding damage as Lovelair throws knees to the body.
Grishin lands a left hand.
Grishin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Grishin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Grishin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lovelair lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Lovelair moves in looking to clinch but Grishin pushes him off.
It looked like Grishin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Lovelair has managed to clinch.
Lovelair prevents Grishin from breaking the clinch.
Lovelair with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lovelair lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Lovelair tries to work over Grishin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Grishin breaks the clinch.
Lovelair tries to clinch
and Grishin counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grishin circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Grishin to counter with a crisp jab.
A head kick by Lovelair misses
and Grishin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lovelair throws an overhand right that lands on Grishin's shoulder, as Grishin tries to avoid the shot.
Grishin circles away from the clinch attempt
letting Grishin counter with a right hand.


That has opened up Raistlin Lovelair's cut even more.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lovelair fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lovelair closes the distance looking to clinch

and Grishin counters with a crisp one two that drops Lovelair! Grishin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lovelair to his feet! Lovelair is in big trouble!


Lovelair is rocked!
Grishin weaves into range and cracks Lovelair right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lovelair goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Grishin is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Viktor Grishin!
A relieved looking Viktor Grishin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
