The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
penn closes the distance and clinches up with Hensem, looking for a takedown. penn pushes Hensem against the cage but Hensem circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - penn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
