Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Margarito Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arttu Laiho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Margarito Mcneil has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Margarito Mcneil seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Margarito Mcneil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arttu Laiho!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcneil misses with an attempted mid kick.
Laiho tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcneil swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Laiho backs away, Mcneil returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
No luck for Laiho with that takedown attempt.
Laiho misses with a low kick.
Laiho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcneil tries to avoid it but Laiho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcneil to the ground. Mcneil escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Arttu Laiho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laiho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Laiho tries to keep at a distance but Mcneil has taken the fight into the clinch.
Laiho tries to break the clinch but Mcneil is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcneil breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Laiho fails to land the takedown.
Margarito Mcneil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arttu Laiho.
Mcneil tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Laiho paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Laiho wants to counter the offense by Mcneil and move into the clinch position.

and Mcneil counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Laiho wants to get back to striking at distance but Mcneil won't allow it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mcneil - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mcneil scores with a hook to the body.

Mcneil's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Laiho looks to land a combination but Mcneil avoids it well.
Mcneil connects with a right hand. Laiho shakes it off.
Mcneil looks for the body kick but Laiho saw that one coming.
Laiho bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mcneil's head backwards.
Laiho connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mcneil. Mcneil circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Laiho lands with a straight right. Mcneil didn't see that one coming.

Mcneil is rocked!
Laiho throws a powerful right kick. Mcneil tried to block low but the kick was high! Mcneil was taken right off of his feet! Laiho jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
