The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pouyade throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pouyade scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vattalles doesn't seem bothered though.
Vattalles moves forwards but Pouyade connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Vattalles dives in for a single leg takedown but Pouyade sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A thudding body kick lands there by Pouyade!
An inside leg kick lands from Pouyade.
Vattalles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pouyade sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A jab lands there for Pouyade.
Vattalles takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pouyade wants to clinch but Vattalles slips to the side

and Vattalles counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vattalles advances position into side control!
Pouyade's coaches at The Coffee Shop have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Pouyade turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Vattalles off and cradles Pouyade's limp body as Vattalles celebrates with his corner.
